3 Tips for Finding the Perfect Place to Meditate
Finding an appropriate place to meditate is one of the most essential things you need to have a successful experience in your meditation practice. Especially at the beginning, when you are beginning your meditation practice and learning to meditate, you should seek the three things listed here each time you select a place to meditate.
1. Sound- Find a quiet room or area where you can be at one with yourself, where you can listen to your breathing, and quiet the shatter of your thoughts.
2. Temperature- Make sure the temperature in the room is pleasant. Temperature that is too cold or too hot will be a distraction.
3. Light- The room should not be too lit. If you are outside, it’s best to go under the shade to not be distracted by the sun shining directly onto your eyes. Darkness does not matter as you will likely have your eyes closed while meditating.
