Why Use Music for Meditation?
Should I Use Music for Meditation?
Should you use music for meditation?
Using music for meditation is an excellent idea. Since the beginning of time, music and sound has been used to promote personal health, self-growth, tranquility, and fulfillment. In essence, music has always been an integral part of human life. It can easily be said that music is the inner or universal language of God.
Music has been used as a tool in meditation practice since the very dawn of civilization. Music has been so commonly used because it balances the human organism through its rhythmic pattern of tones, which are generated in a harmonic relationship with each other. Music for morning and evening meditation should be composed with the consciousness of the harmonics of the time and the hour of the day.
Music for Morning Meditation
Music for morning meditation should produce a very tender, calming, and refreshing meditative mood that helps us step out of sleep and into a harmonious waking state. Music for evening meditation should inspire feelings of joy, confidence, satisfaction, inspiration and the calmness of moonlight. One of the greatest things about music for meditation is that it brings all participants back into harmony with nature by eliminating noise and war and promoting silence and peace.
Benefit of Using Music for Meditation
Using music is an excellent way to engage the mind in a non-linear, right brained activity. The more you learn how to drop into and feel the music, ultimately feeling it with your entire being and becoming the sound; the more powerful and deep your meditation journeys will go. As you drop into the music, becoming the music more and more, you will find that you’ll have amazingly vivid landscapes that unfold from your awakening third eye. You will feel as you become one with the vibrations of the musical notes. Just put on your headphones and allow yourself to be taken on the journey by the music.
Music is a great source of healing for individuals and a wonderful accompaniment to professional meditation and healing sessions including yoga classes, acupuncture sessions, massage sessions and other forms of group therapy. To benefit from using music for meditation, you do not need to be anywhere special, or in any certain position. All you need is to clear your mind of any outside distractions and concentrate totally on the music. Go ahead, start to use music in your meditation practice today and feel the difference.

Binaural Beats as Type of Meditation Music
Not only do I use regular meditation music, but I’ve also been using binaural beats for brainwave entrainment. I can tell you that the experience when I use binaural beats is absolutely different. It has enabled me to have much more intense and deep meditaiton experiences that have given me a state of peacefulness that has lasted throughout my whole day while at the same time making me sharp as a nail!
It’s enabled me to let go of so much emotional baggage and to have such deep meditation experiences that I even got inspired and created a free step by step guide teaching you how to mix binaural beats into guided meditations for free from home. I want you to experience what I have been doing. The guide is really easy to understand and straight to the point (believe me I’m no tech guru!) Check it out and make sure to use the binaural beats with any of the guided meditations included in The Big List of Free Guided Meditations! Let me know what you think after you start meditating with them. I’d love to find out how they’ve benefited you too!
