Learn to Meditate and Fight Stress Today

Meditate to Fight Anxiety

Meditate to Fight Anxiety

Are you tired of living a life filled with stress? Do you dream about knowing what it must feel like to be relaxed? Was the last time you felt relaxed so long ago you don’t even remember how it felt?

Then you may want to learn about meditation! We hear about meditation in the news, read about it on the internet, and some of us may even have a friend or two that do it themselves. Nowadays, the stress is so overwhelming in so many people’s lives that they are going back to a centuries old practice that is meditation. Meditation is not a religion nor a culture. Though it is practiced by Buddhists, you do not have to be a Buddhist to meditate. In fact, millions of people meditate on a regular basis and don’t have a the first clue about Buddhism.

Yet, a lot of people out there still have the misconception that in order to meditate, you’ve got to be a Buddhist and have to meditate in a monastery somewhere up in a mountain in Asia. This could not be further from the truth.

I have found that meditating for just 5 to 10 minutes a day can make a world of a difference in your daily life. I am speaking from experience and can tell you that meditating has affected me ranging from the vibrancy that I see in nature to the improvement of relationships with family members and friends.  Because I feel so strongly about the benefits of meditation and binaural beats, I’ve actually created a Free manual on How to Mix Binaural Beats with Guided Meditations for Free. This manual is for those that are already familiar with binaural beats and guided meditations.

For those of you who are new to meditation and want to begin to meditate, the best way to do so is by following guided meditation videos.  This is why I created The Big List of Free Guided Meditations, the longest list of free guided meditations on the internet to date. I will be updating it regularly so I look forward to getting feedback, comments and suggestions on new meditations to include on the list!

Sonia Gallagher, JD, Integrated Executive and Life CoachThanks for visiting! Make sure to check out our recommended Spiritual Resources Page and get a free binaural beats sample!

Meditation has had an incredible impact on my emotional, professional, and spiritual growth. It has benefited me so much that I created this site to share information about meditation with other busy, stressed out parents, professionals, college students, and business owners in a straightforward way.

Meditation led me to my life path as an Integrated Executive Life Coach. If you'd like to work with me as a coach, schedule a free 15 minute coaching session today! Make sure to let me know you came from My Meditation Garden!
