My Review of Mind Shift Binaural Beats
My Experience with and Review of My Mind Shift Audios
I must say I am please with the Mind Shift Binaural Beats. I have been using several of their binaural beats for my meditation for the past few months. I have experienced a deeper state of meditation and a more intense sense of relaxation.
What are Binaural Beats?
Without getting into the technical details of how these binaural beat audios work, let me give you a brief description of how they work. Your brain functions on primary frequencies based on the speed of your brainwaves. Specific states have specific frequencies… for example if your brain is functioning at a specific frequency of between 13 – 40 Hz this is called ‘Beta’ brain waves. These Beta Waves occur when your brain is active, such as when you are actively concentrating, learning, reading, and receiving and analyzing information.
When you are sleeping however, your brain has a frequency of between 4 – 7 Hz or ‘Theta’ waves. Theta brain waves are present when you are in very deep meditation states, dreaming, or in the middle of REM sleep.
Specific binaural beats stimulate your brain waves to respond in certain ways. For example, if you are feeling tired or groggy, listening to an audio of binaural beats that increases your concentration enables you to enter into Beta brainwave mode, and to be more alert and awake. My Experience and Favorites
One of my favorite binaural beats from this company is currently the intense focus audio. That binaural beat has really helped me to become more organized. I am beginning to use it regularly and have seen results in my efficiency levels.
I am going down my “to do” lists much faster and am getting more organized in my “to do” lists. I actually create my “to do” lists with the goal of each task being related in some way with the other. This way I kind of make a route for myself throughout the day. This works for me and allows me the ability to prioritize tasks… so that I am not just checking things off my list in order to say that I was “productive” that day. (We all know we have done that once or twice in our lives!)
Listening to the binaural beats while I write helps me keep focused and stay in the zone of what I am doing. This way, I am much faster at finishing what I have set out to write and am able to relay the message to the reader in a much easier to understand manner.
They have been really great for when I feel distracted or just simply lack energy or motivation.
It’s tough to stay driven and balanced at the same time… this is after all one of the main reasons I created My Meditation Garden! As a retired lawyer and current entrepreneur, I am much too familiar with the difficulties that exist between balancing professional drive, time, and personal life!
